Ordering & Pricing

How does the quote process work?

Send your project details (and drawings if you have them) through the quote form. Our engineering team — not a call center — reviews every submission and replies with questions or a plan and fixed quote.

What do SAFETAINER shelters cost?

Units start at $80,000 for a 20-ft shelter (30 people). 40-ft units shelter 60 — request pricing for your site.

What do container homes cost?

$150,000 to over $1 million depending on size and finish. See our full cost guide.

Delivery & Installation

Where do you deliver?

Across the continental US, from our Anderson, Indiana facility.

What site prep is needed?

It depends on the product — SAFETAINER shelters install on concrete or bare dirt with a PE-stamped anchoring plan; homes need a foundation we'll spec with you.

Shelters

Is SAFETAINER certified?

Yes — ICC 500 certified and rated for 250+ MPH winds, with PE-stamped installation drawings for concrete or dirt.

How many people fit inside?

30 in a 20-ft unit, 60 in a 40-ft unit. Multi-unit placement plans available for larger properties.

Fire Training

Are your structures NFPA compliant?

Designed in alignment with NFPA 1402 and 1403, developed directly with fire training chiefs, and engineered by our licensed PE.

Can grants pay for this?

Most training structures are grant-funded. Read our AFG grant guide — we provide free spec sheets and budgetary quotes for applications.

Homes & Modifications

Are container homes legal in Indiana?

Yes, county by county — Indiana follows the IBC with container provisions added in 2021. Our PE-stamped drawings satisfy permit offices.

Do you supply the container or modify ours?

Either. Most projects use containers we source; we can evaluate yours for suitability.

How are homes insulated for Midwest winters?

Batt or spray foam systems, specified to residential building code and engineered into the design.
